cost = R 900 + price of copies
We will obtain the building plans on your behalf from the local municipality. This service includes all communication with the municipality and collection of the building plans.
The cost for this service is a flat fee of R 900 PLUS any applicable municipality fees for copies to be made. The cost of copies may vary depending on the size of the project and how many sheets are on file.
Please note that the R 900 is payable up front. In some cases there are no records at the municipality, but we get a note from council and a stamp to indicate that there are no plans.
If there are no record found we will assit with a quote to draw you new plans.

What do we need to assit you?
- Proof of ownership (Title Deed / Latest water and lights account)
- Identification Document
- Power of attorny form to allow us to check your plans
- Application form to Apply for previously approved plans
- If the property is registered in a Trust or business name you will also need the folowing:
- Trust Deed / Company registration documents
- Letter of authority (Resolution letter) from the Trust or Company authorizing you to obtain the plans on their behalf
- Copy of ID of the Authorized person that may sign on behalf of the Trust or Business

Option 2 - Visit the local municipality office in person

Visit your local municipality office and request the building plans for your property. You will need to provide proof of ownership and pay any applicable fees.
The cost for obtaining building plans directly from the municipality varies depending on the location and
size of the property.
